Co.. 2021. 7. 26. 장 자매의 영어 홈티칭 / 장이분, 장미경 초등학교 때까지는 흥미 위주로 원서를 많이 읽으면서 원어민 선생님으로부터 자연스럽게 영어에 노출되는 환경을 만들어주고 싶어요. 현실이 그러니 어릴 때만이라도 시험 걱정, 문법 걱정, 단어 걱정 없이 우리 말 배우듯 영어를 부담 없이 배우게 하고 싶어요. 재미있게 배우면서 흥미를 유지하면, 나중에 커서 좀 지루하게 공부하게 되더라도 영어를 싫어하지 않을 수 있잖아요? 너무 다르구나. 지금까지 배운 방식과 중학교에서 요구하는 방식이 너무 달라서 적응이 필요하구나. 학생들에게는 '많이 읽기'와 더불어 '정확하게 읽기'가 필요합니다. 정확하게 말하기가 더 중요합니다. 아무리 유명하고 좋은 선생님이라 할지라도 부모님보다 더 자녀들을 잘 이해하고 아이에게 딱 맞는 꼼꼼한 가르침을 전해줄 수는 없습니다.
